30/52

You know that feeling when you return to a place you have been just over a week ago, and you cannot believe how much has happened in such a short time period? Well, this is me as I sit here on this Sunday evening at the start of a new set of 10 weeks on this 52 project.

You see, a week ago things were pretty much status quo. But then on Monday morning, after almost a decade at the same company, I resigned! This has been a decision in the making for sometime and I have decided to take the plunge and set up my own nutrition company. Whilst this is a big leap of faith and I know there will be times that I may feel like I am on the wrong train, I know with utmost clarity and certainty that I will always arrive at the right station.

Last weekend the kids and I spent a weekend in Sydney with my family. A Friday Shabbat dinner followed by a giant bubble bath with the cousins filled my parents house with laughter and noise. There was hunting in the garden for fairies and edible flowers, running races at the park with pops and a delicious cookie-making party for cousin Yonni, where I watched with amazement how my mom had just as much fun (if not more) than all the kids.

There is never a truer cliche than things happen for a reason, and the weekend in Sydney with family, reminded me that when all is said and done, it is important to cherish the real things that matter and not worry about the less important stuff.

These pics and video sum up our 30th week of the year.
